Lehi, UT, July 19, 2016 – ZipBooks, a Utah-based accounting software startup, today announced it raised a $2 million seed round led by Peak Ventures, with participation from Pelion Venture Partners, Liquid 2 Ventures and angel investors. ZipBooks also announced the appointment of Jaren Nichols as Chief Revenue Officer.

Jaren joins ZipBooks from Insidesales.com where he was their Director of Global Sales Strategy. Previous to InsideSales.com, Jaren worked for Dropcam, Nest Labs, and Google. Jaren completed his MBA at Harvard Business School and Master of Accountancy at BYU.
