The short version: Bouquet was very disappointing. They told me they don't sell bouquets that are blooming. I really wanted to like PlantShed. It looks like a lovely store on the inside and their potted plants looked great, but I will never be ordering bouquets from here again.
The long version: I ordered a bouquet of pink peonies 6 days before I scheduled to pick it up. I was expecting the bouquet to look like the pictures. Unfortunately, the bouquet did not look quite like the pictures and I didn't have a great experience at the shop. When I first arrived, it took them a while to find my bouquet. They tried to give me a bouquet of roses meant for someone else (Eileen) and then they tried to give me a corsage. Eventually the manager was called over and he was quickly able to locate the bouquet. But the flowers in the bouquet were not blooming, they were mostly closed bulbs. I didn't want to give my friend a bouquet of bulbs. I tried to ask the manager about this, but he told me that he doesn't sell bouquets that are already blooming (so that they last longer). I had a few issues with that. 1) Eileen's bouquet that they mistakenly tried to give me was already blooming, so that seems to be a false statement that can't be applied to all bouquets. 2) Why would I go to a flower shop and schedule a bouquet for pickup if I wanted a bouquet that wasn't blooming? Usually a bouquet is used or given to someone on the day they're picked up, I didn't want to babysit the bouquet and then give it to my friend two days later when the flowers start to bloom. 3) If the flowers just weren't ready, they could tell me they aren't able to give me peonies at that time and offer me roses instead - I would have taken that. 4) If they really don't want to sell flowers that are blooming, they could note that in the item description and maybe even add more pictures so that I know that the bouquet I'll receive will not look like the pictures. They also threw away the card I ordered and had to fish it out of the trash to give it to me because they were not able to print out a new card since the order had been picked up. This in itself would not have been so bad, but the overall experience made me sure that I should have ordered a bouquet elsewhere.
