I went there for the first time this morning. I dont really know what to say... it was kind of surreal, although not necessarily in a bad way. The girl working there told me EXACTLY the same that the previous review describes. She didnt want to treat an area that was previously treated with laser (lower half of my legs). I had bought a coupon in Lifebooker for 12 sessions and she told me to call them back and get the refund. I asked her about the upper half (never treated before) and she told me that my hair there was too thin and not dark enough to be treated (which I think its not true, but she's the expert, I guess it looks dark enough to me). I asked then about the inner thigh (there I can assure, my hair is DARK and is THICK) and she said that was true but it was stupid to spend 12 sessions there because with a good laser 3 sessions would be enough, and she didn't want to take advantage of me. I think she was straight and honest, she gave me explanations about my hair cycle and all these laser treatments that we don't usually receive in other places, and I appreciate that. She definitely doesn't want to scam costumers, which makes me think whether in other places they just do any treatment, even if it's not gonna work', just for the money. However, she was kind of rude to me, telling me that costumers have to do our own research before acquiring these coupons... well, I try to do that but I'm sorry if it's not enough and I'm not an expert on laser treatments, that's not my job! anyway... if you want to treat an area that was already treated, forget about this place. For laser hair removal in areas never treated before, I think it's a good option (they have Cygnosure, it's a good machine). She is a nurse and my feeling is that she looks at costumers more like patients rather than costumers, but I also think she's kind of rude when giving is explanations. I appreciate her honesty overall, she could have taken my money and do the treatment anyway, maybe with bad results or skin damage. But all this could also been explain in the webpage or in Lifebookers, in the end I wasted part of my day going there for nothing. Also, she ONLY works in the weekends, that was OK for me because I can only do these things Sat and Sun (I work the rest of the days) but this also should be specified somewhere, might be hard to schedule an appointment.
