How do I generate a sales report?

Sales of products or services are what keep a business going. ZipBooks makes it easy to create a report showing exactly how much money you’re bringing in.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to ZipBooks and click on Reports at the top of the screen.
  2. Click on Sales Report in the menu on the left. You’ll see a report for the current year-to-date, arranged by month, for all customers. 
  3. Filter your report to see only the details you need by changing Start and End Dates, adding Tags for only the customers you’d like to see information for, or grouping by category or customer instead of date.
  4. In the Basis field, change from Accrual to Cash if you need to.

That’s it! Now the report will show all of the information you need to see.
