How do I create a report to view taxes I’ve collected from customers?

When you collect sales or other taxes, it’s good to know the amounts you’ve collected, so you can make sure you save that amount in your bank account, and pay those taxes when they’re due.

Here’s how to view your taxes invoiced balance:

  1. Log in to ZipBooks and click on Reports at the top of your screen.
  2. Click on Taxes Invoiced in the Accounting and Tax section of your report center.
  3. The report that appears will list the Tax Name (each type of tax you collect), and the Taxable Amount and Taxes Collected for each.

That’s it! Make sure to check the guidelines for when and where to pay each tax type you collect.
