How do I change a category that ZipBooks auto-categorized?
ZipBooks saves you time by auto-categorizing your transactions. But if ZipBooks makes a mistake, it’s easy to correct. And you’ll be teaching ZipBooks more about your habits in the process!
- Log in to ZipBooks and click on Transactions at the top of the screen.
- Find a transaction that ZipBooks has auto-categorized and click on it.
- In the Category field, choose the one you want to apply to this transaction. If you need to split it among multiple categories, click the Edit or Split button.
- Click the blue Save button.
That it! ZipBooks will learn from the changes you made in order to more accurately categorize future transactions.
